During my last stay in Bangkok my main goal was to get my visa in order to go to Myanmar (Burma) in February. As I knew I had to be there super early, if I didn’t want to wait around all day, I was looking for a hostel that was in close proximity to the embassy of Myanmar. What I found was the Cooper Hostel, which is for sure one of cutest little hostels that I have seen on my travel so far.
I just loved everything about this little Hostel, which is located conveniently in the Silom area with only 10 minutes’ walk to sky train station and 20 minutes to the central pier. The interior is super light, friendly and minimalistic with a lot of smaller colorful decor accents, reminding me more of a typical Scandinavian style, than something you would expect in the middle of Asia.
The living room is a great place to meet fellow travelers during the cute little breakfast in the morning and then plug you laptop in and work away all day in this lovely setting. Furthermore they have a really nice little rooftop garden where you can get some fresh air and enjoy the evening after a busy day in the city in a very relaxing atmosphere.
From now on I will most certainly only stay in this little cosy place, whenever my travels lead me through Bangkok again.
